I love this ceiling fan! I bought it as a replacement for a fluorescent light and another not great ceiling fan that I paid someone to install. Super thrilled with brightness as it’s in my kitchen. The lights cover the whole room, and it’s not the bluish light that I don’t like.pleased the wifePurchased this fan for a playroom as it has the 4 A19 bright standard bulbs in the light kit. It is the retail fan packaged in a brown box. All of the parts were with it and it looks brand new. If this is the fan your looking for, buy it now and save the money!Fan works great, it's quiet, and looks good. Only negative is the rubber grommets for the fan blades make blade installation a bit obnoxious.I never figured out how this was refurbished - it looks and performs like new in every way. Whisper quiet at night which was our primary wish. The bulbs are bright, but really light up the room with strong natural light. I highly recommend it.Fan is very nice was easy for my husband to put up. I'm glad it came with the light bulbs didn't have to buy or find an extra item was able to enjoy it right away. Would recommend.Great fan, my son’s dark bedroom is finally bright. He says too bright sometimes, but he is happy with the light and fan.So, first thing I did is look at the questions regarding this fan and the availability of a remote. Sure enough, seller responds "Yeah, just buy the remote separately and it'll work." WRONG. This fan has NO remote ability. Totally worthless. I specifically bought it so I could use a remote and HEY guess what, when I have the handyman over, we don't see any receiver with the dip switches in the fan itself. LAAAAAAAMMME. Don't believe their claims in the answers section. Steer clear. Spend the extra money and get a quality device.
