The blower shown in the picture is clearly a picture of the OEM blower. The actual blower is definitely not the OEM blower. Description states comes with a high heat gasket but it didn’t come with any gasket. Contacted seller & they sent a cheap, not high heat, gasket. But the after market blower fits & works well. It is definitely a lot louder than OEM blower but overall the convection blower is a good value for the money. Save your old gasket & reuse it if you want a gasket. The gasket isn’t “necessary” but it helps cut down on blower noise a little bit. If your pellet stove is near your TV or a place where the extra noise is an issue than you may want to consider getting an OEM blower. But if your pellet stove is in a room where you’re not as concerned with the additional noise then this blower is a good value. The shipping was very fast.This was a perfect fit for my Avalon Astoria Bay PI. The blower housing has holes punched for transferring mounting bracket to the new motor. This blower returned the stove to new, if not better than new, heat output and the motor barely purrs. My stove was experiencing occasional malfunctions with all lights lit up (not one of the expected error patterns) and the stove rattled during warmup and cool down. I also heard an occasional light bearing noise and the motor portion would get quite hot during use. Apparently all these issues can be attributed to this blower. I barely notice the stove running now and the heat output is great.The included gasket needs to be trimmed to fit the opening in back of the stove, but cuts easily It is just a bit messy as the gasket appears to be graphite impregnated (nice touch). My stove never had this gasket and was originally professionally installed. I believe this gasket aids in the higher heat output as there is now a seal between the blower and stove. My only regret is not replacing this blower sooner.The fan fit our stove perfectly, was priced right and was delivered promptly. The one drawback is that it is quite a bit noisier than the old factory unit.This is a great fan to buy on a budget. Local shops were quoting around $250 for an OEM convection fan for my Avalon 900-PS. Sadly it does not move air in volume as the original fan so it is causing a few issues with burning pellets and putting off heat. I am not an engineer but if I had to guess, this fan has a lower rpms than the standard stock fans. Was super easy to install and this is the only one I was able to find that came with a high temp gasket.Fan works as it should, just be prepared for it to be twice as loud as the OEM fan. Two years into this fan and just had to advise others that it is annoyingly loud right frm day one.What can I say? I hooked it up, works like it should and no problems.This is not the OEM fan and model number included in the description. This is clearly false advertising. This fan is also available for less money from other sellers.Product works perfect. Fit perfectly. Did not include gasket, but I used the old one.
