52 Inch Industrial Ceiling Fan with Lights and Remote Control - Brushed Nickel Finish for Living Room, Bedroom, or Office Cooling and Lighting

First of all, I really like the look of this fan. It fit the steampunk / industrial theme of the room I for which purchased this fan. However, the installation was a bit complicated and the install manual was not as clear as it should have been. For example, if you read the install manual like a book - it never describes when to route the wires from the motor through the down rod, until you get to the wiring guide by which time you've already attached the down rod assembly to the ceiling. Three times I ended up pulling nearly everything apart to go back and route wires and covers. The whole process took me, alone, about an hour and a half to complete. In my opinion, they should have almost reversed the process in the manual and had you start with attaching the blades and working your way up to completing the down rod assembly, then hang the whole unit on the ceiling.Additionally, my unit came with a bad wobble at medium and high speeds. I followed their trouble shooting guide and discovered that one of my blades is warped. I have sent an email to the manufacturer asking for a replacement blade.All in all, I give 4 stars. It's a beautiful fan that fit a specific look (that is kinda hard to find without spending a ton of cash on). The fan is not loud, even on high speed. I agree with other reviewers about the light casting "odd shadows" in the room - but in my case that actually enhances the theme of the room. I would purchase again.The screws to install the light cover make it difficult to install-and change bulbs. Otherwise, looks and works well.Our plans changed and we no longer needed the fan. Seller graciously allowed us to return. However, it was very well packed (we did not unpack it) and everything seemed in perfect order.Installation was harder than it needed to be compared to other brands.I really love the look of this fan. The light dispersement is odd though and creates some shadows in the room. But I don’t mind since the room has a lot of natural light during the day, so I’m keeping it.The down pipe was weird needed a longer one but none of the box stores didn’t have any 1/2 to fit itLove the fan. Looks beautiful. The install was difficult. Definitely heard a lot of cussing from the hubby. Recommend hiring a professional. But it's totally worth it. I didn't have to install it so I'm giving it four stars
